Soil Compaction Mechanism and Improvement in Farmland

To improve the quality of sloping soil in farmlands, exploring mechanism farmland consolidation is vital. This study investigated improvement pH, exchangeable acid, crop economic characteristics, and compression index under different amendments using field experiments laboratory-simulated cultures. The results show that (1) increasing pre-consolidation pressure reducing bulk density significantly reduces risk compaction; (2) performance improved after addition organic bio-carbon fertilizers other modifiers to compacted soil. comprehensive physical curve (S) value was higher than 0.05; (3) (biomass carbon + chitosan 32 t/hm2) had best effect, which increased reduced exchange prevented dissolution H+ Al3+.
